About Univ Journalist

This site is an independent guide for people who have to set up, buy or improve an online newsroom or press room. Univ Journalist is written for communications and PR managers, SME marketers and public sector and healthcare communicators in the Netherlands.

Despite the name, this is not a university publication. It is an independent guide for communication professionals and has no link with any newspaper, university, company or person of a similar name.

Every guide is built the same way: a short answer first, then the requirements, the options and the numbers, followed by the questions readers ask most. We name the sources behind our figures and keep our statements checkable. Where a price or feature changes, we update the guide and show the date.

We cover five areas: newsroom software, pricing, press room requirements, sector specific set ups and the relation between a press release and a newsroom. We do not publish rankings that cannot be explained, and we do not guess where facts are missing.
